Htc pensa al futuro: display 3D e nuove fotocamere?

Tramite un comunicato di qualche settimana fa (passato inosservato da parte mia), Htc ci fà sapere che sta cercando ingegneri esperti nel campo Display e Fotocamera..

Cosa possiamo aspettarci, quindi, per il futuro da parte di HTC?

Questo uno stralcio del comunicato tradotto in italiano:

HTC è alla ricerca di un grande Baseband Design Engineer al fine di integrare nuove tecnologie per display e fotocamera, per i dispositivi mobili di prossima generazione. Il candidato prescelto dovrà avere:

Familiarità con quasi tutte le tecnologie di display (TFT-LCD, PMOLED, AMOLED, E-ink, ecc.)
Familiarità con display 3D e tecnologie di imaging
Esperienza nelle tecnologie di illuminazione

In arrivo nuovi smartphone con display 3d e fotocamere super performanti? Magari.

Personalmente mi fa piacere leggere questo comunicato. Htc sta pensando al futuro e su come migliorare le due cose che secondo me non sono all’altezza degli altri smartphone e che soffrono di maggiori problemi.

E parlo proprio di display e fotocamera. Basti pensare ai famosi aloni rosa, video scattosi, qualità foto bassa nonostante il sensore ecc ecc.

Display and Camera Design Engineer
HTC is looking for a great Baseband Design Engineer to lead the integration and evaluation of new display and camera technologies for next-generation mobile devices. This engineer will work with other baseband engineers and other disciplines to design, architect, and evaluate advanced phone concepts. The qualified candidate will have experience in specifying the optical properties of mobile cameras and displays, be capable of measuring the performance of mobile cameras and displays, and be capable of integrating those components into prototype phone designs.

The candidate will be responsible for interfacing with camera and display vendors. The candidate should be self-driven, organized, and creative, have strong communication skills, and be able to work under minimal supervision with tight and shifting deadlines.

The successful candidate will have:

Strong display evaluation experience and the ability to write specifications for new displays, cameras and touch panels.

Familiarity with multiple display technologies( TFT-LCD, PMOLED, AMOLED, E-ink, etc).

Familiarity with 3D display and imaging technologies

Experience in shipping and/or deploying high-volume products.

Ability to analyze and critique interconnect and bus architectures for imaging and displays

Experience in illumination technologies

Comfortable working individually or as a member of a cross-functional team.

Strong testing and debugging skills.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced short-cycle product team environment.

BS in EE or related field as well as a minimum of 6-10 years industry experience.
